On Thursday, October 17, 2013, the European Parliament hosted not one, but two events on the situation of Bedouins in Israel. An important topic, but perhaps not one requiring two forums on the same day. The reason? The event organised by the Socialist and Democrats Group refused to invite any speaker to provide the Israeli perspective, thus ensuring a one-sided, biased event. Thus, the Parliament's Delegation for Relations with Israel invited the Israeli government to provide their position. David Saranga of the Israeli Mission to the EU joins Joshua Goodman and Daniel Schwammenthal to discuss the controversy in the European Parliament.
