About Us
The AJC Transatlantic Institute is the Brussels-based EU Office of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), a non-partisan organization founded in 1906. AJC's mission is to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel, and to advance human rights and democratic values in the United States, Europe and around the world.
As a key part of AJC's global advocacy, the Transatlantic Institute in Brussels promotes close transatlantic ties based on shared values and interests. Particularly in light of the security challenges the West today faces in the form of terrorism, radicalism and nuclear proliferation, we consider strong U.S.-EU-Israel relations an integral part of that vital partnership.
Founded in 2004, the Transatlantic Institute engages decision-makers across the political spectrum in all relevant European institutions and services as well as NATO and the diplomatic missions to the EU, think tanks, journalists, and others in the civil society sector.
