AJC Engages World Leaders at the UN General Assembly

As the world gathered last week in New York for the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, AJC held meetings with over 80 presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers, and other key officials to advocate for robust transatlantic ties, strengthen Israel's rightful place in the family of nations, and shine a light on the need to combat the growing threat of antisemitism and other forms of hatred.

On the sidelines of the General Assembly, AJC honored Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the "Architect of Peace" award in recognition of the Gulf nation's efforts to promote interfaith relations and regional security. Read on
