AJC Transatlantic Institute Co-Organize a Roundtable "The Creative IMEC: Trade in Times of Crisis"
AJC Transatlantic Institute and the Euro-Gulf Information Centre convened a closed-door roundtable in Brussels to examine the future of the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor (IMEC) amid growing geopolitical and economic challenges. Against the backdrop of the conflict involving Iran and disruptions to global trade routes through the Strait of Hormuz, participants explored innovative approaches to safeguarding the corridor's strategic potential.
Bringing together diplomats, policymakers, and experts, the discussion focused on infrastructure resilience, maritime security, emerging partnerships, and evolving trade patterns between Europe, the Gulf, and India. Held under the Chatham House Rule, the roundtable provided a platform for candid exchanges on strengthening connectivity and cooperation in an increasingly uncertain global environment.
