AJC's partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Democracy (FNF), the liberal German think tank, was established more than 25 years ago with the "Promoting Tolerance" program, which has engaged nearly 400 emerging leaders in Central and Eastern Europe.
Building on this already strong cooperation, the AJC Transatlantic Institute and the FNF's European Dialogue Office have over the past ten years organized their triannual Transatlantic Dialogue Luncheon. The staple Brussels event series presents panel discussions on topical transatlantic issues - whether it be trade policy, counter-terrorism efforts or simply an outlook on the upcoming Super Tuesday.
AJC and the German Christian-Democratic think tank Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) go way back. Over 35 years ago both organizations launched the first exchange program between the German and American-Jewish community in order to build understanding through personal encounters.
The AJC Transatlantic Institute has over the past decade been privileged to build in Brussels on this remarkable institutional friendship. In addition to co-organizing an annual symposium on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we co-host with KAS conferences and discussions on transatlantic relations, EU-Israel relations and anti-Semitism.https://twitter.com/kasonline
Founded in 2007, the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies is the official think tank of the European People’s Party. The AJC Transatlantic Institute's partnership with the Martens Centre is based on democratic values and a shared taste for organizing thought-provoking events in Brussels on timely issues, ranging from terrorism to EU foreign policy.https://twitter.com/MartensCentre
