The AJC Transatlantic Institute and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation hosted Ambassadors Kay Bailey Hutchison and Hans-Dieter Lucas for a discussion on the future of the transatlantic alliance. Lithuanian MEP Petras Auštrevičius (Renew Europe, Lithuania) delivered opening remarks. Attended by over 180 guests and expertly moderated by defense journalist Teri Schultz, the discussion covered NATO’s most pressing challenges: Russia’s hybrid warfare, Iran’s destabilizing behavior, and the alliance’s internal quarrels.
