Naor Gilon is currently serving as Head of Bureau for International affairs at the Center for Political Research in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Gilon received his BA in Political Science from Tel Aviv University and his Masters in International Relations from Budapest Economic University. Gilon joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1989 and has served as the Deputy Chief of Missions at the Embassy of Israel in Hungary, from 1990 - 1995, Deputy Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister, from 1995-1997, Counselor for Political Affairs at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations, from 1997 - 2000, Director of the Division for Strategic and Military Affairs in the Center for Political Research, from 2000-2002, and as Minister-Counselor for Political Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in Washington DC, from 2002-2005 .
